The Studiolo

These letters are written from a private studio just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio — a room lined with books, instruments, and the accumulated signals of a lifetime of learning, seeking and experiencing.

The Studiolo is a practice built on a simple premise: your intellectual and spiritual estate — your mind, your voice, your vision, your IP — is either being actively architected by you, or it isn’t yours.

These letters explore what that means. What it looks like to own your mind in an age that makes it very easy not to. How to name who you actually are beneath performative and adaptive patterns. How to clarify what you’re genuinely devoted to. How to build the systems that turn raw human experience into something real and enduring.

The method draws on the traditions of polymaths and autodidacts across three thousand years — structured observation, disciplined capture, reflective integration, curated libraries — and on the honest, sometimes uncomfortable process of doing this work in real time.

If any of this resonates, subscribe. My mission is to provide genuine value and clarity in the midst of a civilizational inflection point.
